Royston Glass Supports Tour of Britain

The team from Royston Glass were out today to support the Tour of Britain. Stage 3 of the tour, from Sheffield to Barnsley, passed our factory in Grimethorpe at around 1.50pm. The 166 km stage was well underway by the time the tour flew passed us, and we went out to see the racers and show our support.

The speed of the cyclists was something to behold! Congratulations to everyone involved from the team here, and it was wonderful to see the race so well supported. Of particular note was the police motorbikes and support vehicles peeping their horns at the kids from the local primary school - the kids loved it, and it really contributed to the excitement and the atmosphere for the spectators.
