Royston Glass & ETS UK Ltd Join Forces to Fight COVID-19
Royston Glass and ETS UK Ltd, a specialist transmissions repair company based in Whitley Bridge, have joined forces in the fight against COVID-19.
In this unprecedented crisis, Royston Glass and ETS UK wanted to contribute anything we could to the massive, ongoing, relief effort. Our combined manufacturing and engineering expertise has led to the production of plastic face shields.
This much needed PPE has already been distributed to The Grange Medical Centre in Hemsworth, following a chance meeting with the practice manager at the supermarket:
“Hi it's Emma.
We met in Morrison's on Saturday, you kindly gave me the Visors for work. Just want to say a massive thank you, I've brought them to work, and everyone is thoroughly impressed and equally as grateful. Thank you so much x”.
The production of the face shields is very much a cottage industry. We are not equipped to manufacture vast numbers, but are trying to make as many as we can.
Adapting to this crisis has been a challenge, as it has for everyone, but we are pleased that we have been able to contribute in some small way.
If you work for a care facility or other healthcare setting, and are interested in procuring some of our face shields, please do not hesitate to contact us via Facebook or our website.
